Common myths (that may be keeping you from signing up):

I have to practice yoga for an hour for it to be effective.

No, not at all! Even doing a 10 minute practice will give huge benefits. Yoga (physical postures) is not meant to be practiced alone, meaning one of the purposes of yoga is to prepare the body and mind to sit for meditation. Even if short on time, yoga combined with breathing exercises and meditation for a few minutes will go a long way in creating inner harmony and happiness.

I don't have the time/patience to meditate.

Meditation is difficult in the beginning for most people. This is why practicing together in a class setting helps to relieve some of those initial or ongoing challenges- you do not have to think about keeping time, finding a guided meditation to listen to, or how to structure your practice. It’s all done for you! When you start feeling more calm, relaxed and peaceful, meditation stops feeling like a struggle. 

I've tried yoga/meditation before and it just didn't work for me.

In my classes, yoga and meditation are part of a larger holistic practice. I bring together different aspects of our mental and physical health to help create more inner balance and alignment. We have to consider all levels of our wellness in order to truly be happy. When combined together in one class, we gradually move towards feeling better about ourselves and our lives.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't we just practice meditation or yoga?

In order to find balance in our everyday lives we must connect with the mind, body and spirit. When we start bringing all three into alignment we begin to feel calmer, be more mindful in our daily activities, improve our relationships, and become more efficient and productive. A holistic practice increases the quality of our thinking and living.

How do classes work online?

Once you become a member you will automatically be registered for classes over Zoom. You will receive a separate email with link. Every Sunday when you sign in, you will be able to view the instructor screen only. However, there will be time at the end of class for questions and clarifications through the chat box.

Is this a paid class?

Yes. There is a flat fee of $19/month. This means you pay once every month to attend classes every Sunday for that month. If you consider there are 4 Sundays in a month, then you are paying less than $5 (USD) per class ($4.75 to be exact). Once you register, payments will automatically recur every following month unless you decide to cancel your subscription. You will create a login ID and password during sign-up which will allow you to access and manage your subscription and payments.

Can I share my Zoom link with friends and family?

No. Only members will have access to the online classes. Participants will be restricted to only those who have subscribed.

What does each class cover?

Every session will include yogasana (physical postures), breathing exercises & techniques, original guided meditations, time for silent meditation, philosophy & inspirational food for thought, and end with time for questions & answers.

How long is each class?

Each class will run about 50-60 minutes. 

What day and time are classes?

Classes are every Sunday at 9AM (Pacific Standard Time). Please check your local timezone.

Are classes recorded so I can practice later?

At this time, all classes are live and not recorded. In the future, there may be an option to watch recorded sessions.

How do I sign up?

Fill out the form and input your payment information to become a member. Once you are registered you will receive an email with all of the details on how to join the weekly classes and how to login into your private customer portal.
